Trstenik är en liten lugn stad där det ibland kommer in båtar men turister som partar loss några gånger i veckan, huset ligger på lagom avstånd så man störs inte av ljudet.
Om man vill se solnedgången kan man åka och bada och äta i ”Dingac Borak” 10 minuter på en underbart vacker väg.
Detta är också en perfekt stad om du tänker cykla eller jogga (i Kroatiens vilda kryddträdgård😀) på morgonen då du kan gå åt båda hållen utmed kustvägen! När svetten sedan rinner kan du kasta dig i det blå vattnet i Trstenik.
Parkeringen passar för en lagom stor bil utanför huset. Det finns en liten butik för det allra nödvändigaste. Jag rekommenderar att handla på en stormarknad innan du anländer om du skall vara i huset flera dagar och laga mat själv, tex i ett Ploče, Orebić eller Opuzen.

Small... read more old stone, yet cute house with blue windows, with a lot of private touch everywhere in&around the house done by the host itself, giving this space a special character among many other 'fabricated' stays. So yes, if you're out looking for a modern apartment stay, then this is not the place for you - this is lovely place if you're looking for something more authentic, and with a twist - a combination of all modern facilities needed for a comfortable stay, yet combined with old tastefully DIY restored furniture and a lot of cute details everywhere, painted in 'Mediterranean' blue 🙂

Be however aware that authentic places at the Adriatic coast situated close to the beach tend to have narrow roads, this also being the case in Trstenik - so if you're traveling by car, ask your host in advance for assistance on how to find the place and where to park - Maya will willingly help you with any advice needed in a heartbeat.

Maya as a host is very hospitable, easy to communicate with, and always available for any help or info needed during the stay, which was much appreciated.
