Inside the cottage
Our family has spent its summers in Trstenik since 1965. The Sunny Cottage is our family's heirloom.
It was built at the end of the 19th century, rebuilt and renovated in 2000, and refurbished again in 2012 and 2020. Downstairs, 35 m² of living room and kitchen make one bright, open space, with a sofa bed and a TV. The kitchen has everything for cooking at home: fridge, freezer, hob, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. The bathroom has a shower and a washing machine.
Upstairs, the 35 m² attic has two bedrooms separated by a sliding door: one with a king-size double bed, open towards the stairs, and one with two single beds and a baby cot. The beds are comfortable mattresses on wooden pallets, under a wooden ceiling — simple and cosy, and kept cool by an air conditioner. Fresh linen and plenty of towels are included.
Outside, the terrace has a dining table, two wooden deck chairs with soft cushions, two sunshades and an electric grill. Pick basil, rosemary or mint from the little herb garden — and take some home with you if you like.

The beach is five minutes away. Trstenik's 300-metre pebble beach is a short walk from the door, with clear water in a deep, south-facing bay.

A quiet corner of the village. The cottage sits in a calm neighbourhood of the old village, close enough to walk to the seafront restaurants and far enough to sleep in peace.

Free parking. There is room for a car right next to the cottage; with a bigger car, the open public parking on the seafront is a minute or two away.

Wine country all around. Trstenik was the port for the grapes and wine of the area, home of Plavac Mali, and the Grgić winery is in the village.

Booking direct means talking to the owner. Same cottage, no commission in the middle, and someone who answers the phone and knows every corner of the peninsula.
